I am Viktoria, surface pattern designer, maker and mum, from Hungary, but living in London. I love painting watercolour patterns, then creating fabrics and then sew things with my textiles. My main source of inspiration is nature, folk art and the infinite variation of colours. And since I became a Mama of a sweet little girl, she inspires me every day.

I have been drawing, painting, sewing since I was very little, but have never really found before what I wanted to do exactly. Until now. After all those years of experiments and trials and errors I had to become a mama to realise no doubt I want to create things for children and mums, and it has to involve painting, patterns and fabrics.

So I paint my motifs, create my patterns, print them on fabrics (this step includes another company of course, I'm not doing this myself), and then I sew different things, like blankets, bags, toys. I do work on commissions as well where I get to design tableware, cards, puzzles etc, but I love owning the whole process.

A few facts about me:
- I got my first sewing machine when I was 5 :)
- Sustainable living is very important to me.
- I am a lot more maternal than I expected.
- I am a very organised person and a big fan of lists. But I can make a huge mess within seconds :)
- I paint really-really slowly, which is very annoying. But I sew fairly quickly :)
- I hate touching money, I find that's one of the filthiest things.
- I love Harry Potter, the books and the films too.
- My favourite colour has always been yellow, only the shade changed to more ochre-yellow.
